Leah and Andy

I met Leah and Andy through a recommendation from some of my good friends, and I could quickly tell that they were that were genuinely good people, and they had a honest love between them and their family. They planned to get married at an alpaca farm, and have a taco truck. How can you get better than that? My answer is I’m not sure you can, and both the pacas and tacos (pacos if you don’t have time to say the full phrase) really delivered on their wedding day. They had a fantastic and relaxing wedding with their family and friends, and it was an honor to be there and share in their party.

Josh and Aubrey

I’ve known Josh since High School, and have had the pleasure of being on multiple long trips with him. The first big trip was a few months in South America powered by an old Subaru hatchback, followed by travelling to California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Montana, Colorado and a few other states in a little Honda Fit hatchback a couple of years later. We’ve had an awesome time together over the years, but I guess I just wasn’t exciting enough for him, which is where Aubrey comes in. Josh and Aubrey make an awesome couple together, and were a fantastic couple to photograph for their wedding and engagement. Both were very relaxed and go-with-the-flow on their wedding day, which makes working with a couple really easy when a lot is going on around them. It was a blast shooting their wedding day, and I couldn’t have done it without my second shooter Aaron Shetler.

Will and Kahla

Back in high school, I played in a couple of bands. One of the bands I played guitar in for around a year was a hardcore band named Far From Abandoned. It was a really fun set of guys, and we played in a lot of venues in and around Columbus such as the Newport, Al Rosa Villa, etc. Playing screamo was tons of fun, but wasn’t my passion so I eventually stepped down, and pursued music with another band for a few years after that. Even though I stopped playing with them, it was always fun to see the guys and catch up over the past few years. Will was the other guitarist in the band, and it’s been fun to see him mature over the years into one of the most relaxed and nicest guys out there. I first met Kahla when we came together to go over wedding details, and her bubbly and kind personality is a perfect fit for Will. I was honored to be able to shoot an old friend’s wedding, and had a blast doing it as well.

Tim and Kelli

October 20th 2018 - Orchard House Bed and Breakfast, Granville Ohio

October’s weather treated us well for the most part, but on Tim and Kelli’s wedding day nature decided to experiment with colder weather and even gustier winds. We were able to use the woods for the first few hours for both the first look and ceremony, but when the wind picked up it was deemed wiser to move indoors to the Orchard House. Thankfully the Orchard House was packed full of character. Tim and Kelli are one of those couples that are truly a joy to watch interact with each other, and kept it relaxed and fun the whole day. Not only did the guests have a blast, but Seth Showalter (my second shooter) and I did too! Below are a few highlights.
